Shaner Appraisals, Inc. is a full-service real estate valuation and counseling firm located in Overland Park, Kansas (Kansas City metropolitan area). The firm employs twelve full-time real estate analysts, including two MAI and one SRA designated members of the Appraisal Institute. Shaner's professionals have over one hundred years of combined real estate valuation and counseling experience. Two members of the firm are past Presidents of the Kansas City Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.

Though the firm's primary market is the Metropolitan Kansas City area, Shaner Appraisals has also completed assignments throughout the continental United States.  The firm provides market studies, feasibility analysis and valuation services for all types of real property from single and multi-family residences to shopping centers, office buildings and industrial complexes.  Shaner Appraisals also has extensive experience valuing special purpose properties such as nursing homes, underground storage facilities, and easement corridors.

The majority of Shaner's assignments are completed for financing purposes, but the firm also has extensive experience in litigation support work (e.g. condemnation, tax appeals, ownership disputes).  All assignments are completed or reviewed by an MAI designated consultant.
